Migration Institute of Finland, Helsinki, Finland

Migration Institute of Finland is part of a wide network of partners both in Finland and internationally. The Institute cooperates with multiple Finnish universities, ministries and non-profit organizations. In addition, it has several partners abroad. The activities of the Institute are financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The offices of the Institute are located in Turku, Seinäjoki and Kruunupyy. The Migration Institute of Finland is the only institute in Finland specialising in both the research and documentation of migration flows. Their special task involves documenting the life of Finns living abroad and promoting awareness related to it. It is a national actor and the majority of their work takes place in Finland but, in terms of expatriate Finns, their operating area covers the whole world.

The creation of the university took place on November 17, 2010 , approved by Law No. 29626 and its amending Law No. 29840, based on the scientific and humanistic development of our students and constituting an unprecedented historical event in the creation from universities at the national level, generating and integrating intercultural knowledge.

The Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University (Ukrainian: Національний технічний університет «Дніпровська політехніка»), abbreviated in Ukrainian as NTU DP (Ukrainian: НТУ ДП) is located in Dnipro, the third most populous city in Ukraine. It was founded in 1899 as the Yekaterinoslav Higher Mining School. The task of the university then was to provide the mining industry with highly qualified specialists, a goal that has continued to direct the university’s leadership right up to the present day, although in recent years its academic offer has developed beyond the confines of mining-related subjects. Currently, its structure consists of nine faculties (academic departments). During the Soviet era, the polytechnic was one of the country’s top specialised institutions of higher education. It is ranked as one of Ukraine’s best universities in many rankings and today attracts a large number of foreign students.
